Buzet, the Town of Truffles, organises several events dedicated to the king of mushrooms, and all those who enjoy culinary delicacies can visit numerous taverns and restaurants to try out the many specialities of this region. On Town Day – Subotina, September 8th, 2018, the residents of Buzet will prepare, as has become tradition, a gigantic frittata at the main town square, in a large pan with 2018 eggs and a dozen kilograms of truffles. A concert will also take place in the evening.
